Stylus virum arguit

There's only one golden rule in my book:

Do not betray.

Simple. Those who dared to do it to me, are already wandering as ghosts in the graveyard of the forgotten.

I remember I used to have one "friend" who had all my trust, as a matter of fact, I can't remember another person who had it after the events that I'm about to relate (only my best friend and I already knew him by that time).

This girl used to be my confident and when I was really young (not even 21) and I had the positive lab results of the pregnancy test of my then girlfriend, I ran into her house and cried, desperate, looking for advice. Instead of shutting the fuck up her loose tongue, she shared that valuable, juicy piece of information and spread the news. The result? I spent 14 years without talking to her, until 2-3 months ago that she found me in FB and I accepted the request. A steep consecuence maybe but I really HATE the stabs in the back.

I want to end this little cathartic (as in the latin, from greek katharsis, from kathairein, to purge, from katharos, pure) entry with a really good quote:

One should rather die than be betrayed. There is no deceit in death. It delivers precisely what it has promised. Betrayal, though ... betrayal is the willful slaughter of hope.

With such high expectations you are in for big disappointment. Nice blog, too bad most of it is in spanish
